Legal uses of a CD writer, Number 3 in a very short series
Copying tracks from a bloody 'enhanced' CD so I can play it at work without it launching and crashing my iMac. Well, that worked...

Song Survey from duranorak

What song or songs make you feel...

The Whole of the Moon – Waterboys, Ruby Red – Marc Almond, Sit Down - James, and the rest of my 'bootstraps' tape which I really must get on to CD now.
99 Red Balloons, Young Americans, Sloop John B... And Life's a Gas and French Fries with Pepper also make me mourn for the singers.
Certain Spaceman 3 tracks, because everybody I love can no longer be found here.
...like dancing?
$10 Bill, Sheila Na Gig, Ich Bin Ein Auslander, Blister in the Sun, Dead Stars. I could go on…
I don’t think music scares me, as such
A lot of Bowie, especially Ziggy Stardust, Life on Mars
Anything off Stutter by James, Pink Floyd: Brain Damage
Are there any songs or artists you can only listen to on your own?
Baader Meinhof, because Paul hates it, but that's it I guess.

It’s almost impossible to say, but the first song I remember noticing was Space Oddity
What was the first single you ever bought?
The Damned – New Rose
What's your favourite music video?
The Fat Boy Slim one where everything explodes (I'm shallow like that).
What song evokes the strongest memory for you?
Come on Eileen – played at every youth club disco when I was 18
Have you ever fallen in love to a song?
Yes, Janis Ian – Seventeen. Ugh! That was a long time ago.

It’s Raining Men, or I Will Survive or similar camp classics
Who do you think is the most overrated singer/group ever?
Tori bloody Amos
Who do you think is the most underrated?
Interferon, who produced Get Out Of London in1983
What's the most unexpected band, artist or song that you like?
American Pie or Hotel California, rather shamefully

I remember seeing the video for this on Max Headroom a couple of times. Saturday afternoon, i think, overlapping with Robin of Sherwood. Do you have a copy? I woulnd't mind hearing it again at some point.
