Don't you tell me to lighten up

Am feeling bored and in need of comments, so do please follow me up if you're as bored as me...

Everyone seems to think I should do an irrelevant funny poll, but this will have to do. It won't fit into a poll very well, so I'm just doing it as a set of questions.

Where would you like to go on holiday for a weekend?

What about a week?

A month?

Where would you go if you were on your own (or would you be too scared)?

In a romantic couple or threesome?

With a platonic friend?

With a larger group?

And for your last optional question, would you like to go on holiday with me, and under what circumstances...

Where would you like to go on holiday for a weekend?
Prague I reckon - I was there a few years ago and would like to go back. Cheap, chilled and very beautiful.

What about a week?
Difficult. There are loads of places I'd love to visit and I hate package holidays. Maybe somewhere in Scandinavia - I've never been anywhere in that part of the world.

A month?
Touring parts of the far east, although not at the moment.

Where would you go if you were on your own (or would you be too scared)?
On my own, I think I'd probably visit Rome again, as I was very young when I was last there.

In a romantic couple or threesome?
Florence is lovely when not too crowded. Anywhere relaxed and comfortable works though. Fairly low cost UK holidays can be great too - especially if the holiday is less about visiting stuff....

With a platonic friend?
London - shopping, clubbing, maybe out on the pull...

With a larger group?
Oktoberfest - I must go back and do that properly at some point. Scheduling's a bitch though and not everyone likes beer, so I suspect it won't be a large group.

Where would you like to go on holiday for a weekend? Brighton

What about a week? Iceland

A month? New Zealand

Where would you go if you were on your own (or would you be too scared)? Somewhere where I knew my partners wouldn't kill me for having gone without them

In a romantic couple or threesome? Paris. Yes, it's a cliche, sue me.

With a platonic friend? Road trip across the US

With a larger group? Big Mediterranean villa

And for your last optional question, would you like to go on holiday with me, and under what circumstances... Yes, to a foreign capital city reasonably close, shortly after a bank holiday in late summer.

Where would you like to go on holiday for a weekend?
Probably just stay in Edinburgh and do various clubs and pubs and sleep late.

What about a week?
The Highlands

A month?
Scandinavia

Where would you go if you were on your own (or would you be too scared)?
Interrailing was fun on my own, athough I'm too old for that now. I might do a tour around a series of old friends around the country (or doesn't that count as "alone"?)

In a romantic couple or threesome?
the nearest big, solid, four-poster bed :o)

With a platonic friend?
Somewhere in Europe

With a larger group?
hiring a big house with lots of different stuff around so people could do their own thing when they wanted sounds like a good plan.

for a weekend? Wherever SBA were playing, they're my current obsession. I know I nice hotel about an hour from where they're playing next, just need a chaufeur. for this weekend? I'd rather stay in and vegitate.

for a week? I keep promising myself I'll do as many castles as possible for a holiday one day. I just need someone else to share the driving and appreciate them

For a month? I'd like to seriously do the festival. If money were no object and I didn't have to work, I could seriously into late nights, late starts and sitting arround in cafes people-watching.

On your own? I probably wouldn't be capable of it! I'd probably pair up with someone asap. I need someone to talk to.

In a romantic couple or group? I'd go somewhere warm and exotic some kind of island paradise to try out all the stuff I've ever wanted to.

Platonic friend? Concert trip or shopping

larger group? Anything I didn't have to organise that everyone wanted to be doing. I love WGW, does that count?! ;-)

With purplerabbits? I don't know you all that well so it would have to be with a big group of friends-in-common. Whitby? Or Leipzig? Or some such probably.
